Visitors Guide to Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland

Disney's first theme park outside the United States, Tokyo Disneyland opened April 15, 1983 and drew nearly 18 million visitors in 2019, making it the third most-visited theme park in the world. Though Tokyo Disneyland looks much like Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, there are several notable differences: World Bazaar, covered by a glass-and-steel canopy, occupies the Main Street space, while Westernland replaces Frontierland. An expansion in 2020 added a new "Beauty and the Beast"-themed area to Fantasyland, along with new attractions in Toontown and Tomorrowland.
