Frogs Invading Splash Mountain?

I have heard many rumors that in WDW, Splash Mountain will be closed and turned into a ride based on The Princess and the Frog. I am not sure if this is true or not but if anything, keep Splash Mountain and put a Princess and the frog ride somewhere in Adventureland by replacing the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and expanding it.
I wouldn't worry about that. Splash will remain the same.
Yeah, Princess and the Frog is not a good enough storyline to push the iconic Splash Mountain out the door and Disney knows it. I would like to see an attraction or show based off Princess and the Frog be placed somewhere in or around New Orleans Square at Disneyland if there is room anywhere.

I have to agree. It would be a terrible idea if Disney did this. Splash Mountain fans, myself included, would be furious. I'm sure there would be a save Br'er Rabbit campaign, similar to the Save Mr. Toad campaign. While I'd love to see Princess and the Frog at Disney World, I think it is better suited for Fantasyland.

Changing Splash Mountain would be like kissing the frog only to see it turn into a toad.
Let's trust that Disney has the wit of Brer Rabbit rather than the gullability of Brer Fox.
That's a terrible idea.

A move like that would almost be equivalent to adding a Pandora Land in Animal Kingdom. I`d like to say that Disney would be smart enough to keep it, (and I guarantee that they will), But after the Avatar Incident I have been thinking otherwise......
