The Best Dark Ride
Let's do this again.
What is you favourite Dark Ride. Personally, I'd go with The Amazing Adventures of Spider-man.
Past: Kennywood Park's Le Cachot
Current: Disneyworld's Pirates of The Caribbean
Is the Forbidden Journey considered a dark ride?
I'll go with the late, great Nights In White Satin at the late, great Hard Rock park.
Knoebels Haunted Mansion runs second.
Spider-Man and Forbidden Journey are at the top, still can't make my mind up as to which one is better. Hmm as for Disney well if the Indiana Jones Adventure is considered a dark ride than that one gets my vote.
Well I haven't made it out to florida yet but as far as the west coast goes I'll take pirates of the carribean just barely over haunted mansion.

Disneyland's Pirates blows the WDW version out of the water (pun intended). However, until I ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Spider-Man at IOA still rules the roost.
Locally, Fire in the Hole at Silver Dollar City never fails to leave me with a smile.
James, once you ride FJ, you will think differently about Spider-Man! Spidey was always my favorite dark ride until I rode Forbidden Journey this summer. The ride itself was great, but I think I was more in awe of the themed queue. Spider-Man still holds a special place in my heart, but my new love goes to Harry Potter!
The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman. It's just everything you want in a dark ride.

Haunted Mansion and Pirates. Period, end of story!
Haunted Mansion, POTC, and Spaceship Earth. These are the main three that I have to ride for every trip. I have loved these since I was a little girl and I am doing my upmost to make my husband and sons love them too. My boys now have the lyrics to, "Grim Grinning Ghosts," memorized :)
