Is there any significant disney related event that happened on your birthday. For example Indiana and Jones and the temple of peril opened in Disneyland Later in 1998 the magic set sail and in 1999 in rockin roller coaster premierd. However, maybe you werent exactly born a year something happened. however, just use something signficant from the date. Whatever day you were born on its fun to find out and actually see parts of disney history compiled together. For help use this website http://thisdayindisneyhistory.homestead.com

Tim, considering Disneyland was still a dream to Walt when I was born, Mickeys' cartoons were up and running.

While there are quite a few interesting ones on there for Jan 10th. I think my favorites are:

1930:
Roy Edward Disney, a longtime senior executive for Disney and the nephew of Walt Disney, is born to Roy Oliver and Edna Disney in Los Angeles, California. He will begin working for his Uncle Walt after graduating from college in 1951 as an assistant director. He will continue to work as a writer, director, and producer until 1967 when he will be elected to the Board of Directors of the company.

1932:
The first color comic pages by Disney are published in Sunday editions of newspapers. The Mickey Mouse Sunday page and the Silly Symphony
Sunday strip both debut. Bucky Bug (created by Earl Duvall and Al Taliaferro) is featured in the Symphony newspaper strip.

1970:
Walt Disney World's Preview Center, located on Buena Vista Boulevard near the intersection of Interstate 4 and State Road 535 in Florida, opens. Housed in a modern glass, concrete and steel structure, the center features displays of models and drawings of the soon-to-be-open Florida theme park.

Thank you for this link.

1925:
Actor John Fiedler, the voice of Piglet in many of Disney's Winnie the Pooh movies and TV programs, is born in Platteville, Wisconsin.

1945:
Disney's 7th (animated and live-action) feature film The Three Caballeros is released in the U.S.

1956:
Tony Award-winning actor Nathan Lane, the voice of Timon in Disney's 1994 The Lion King and the voices of Spot & Scott in Disney's 2004 Teacher's Pet, is born Joseph Lane in Jersey City, New Jersey.

1969:
Cartoonist Al Taliaferro - known as the first artist of Donald Duck newspaper comics - passes away in Glendale, California.

2001:
The animated series Disney's House of Mouse airs the 3rd episode "The Three Caballeros."

There was a lot of other stuff too.
