Disney Cruise Line has revealed the theme for the bar that will be taking the place of Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge on the Disney Treasure.
And, as previously suggested, it's the Haunted Mansion.
Haunted Mansion Parlor will welcome its first guests when the Treasure makes its initial sailing in December 2024. A twin of the Disney Wish that launched last year, the Treasure will be the DCL's fifth cruise ship.
Putting a Haunted Mansion bar on a Disney cruise ship brings the story of the Mansion full circle. Imagineer Ken Anderson's original concept for Haunted Mansion was to make it the ghostly home of a sea captain who had killed his bride before hanging himself. Nods to that storyline in the current attraction include a ghostly ship portrait in the gallery as well as a grave for Captain Culpepper Clyne in Walt Disney World's exterior queue.
Indeed, Disney's press release for the Treasure lounge calls Haunted Mansion Parlor, the "next chapter of the Haunted Mansion, focused on the story of a jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé."
The Haunted Mansion Parlor's drink menu will include a margarita topped with lemon salt foam and a message that can be seen only in black light. DCL also announced two mocktails today:
Merchandise available exclusively within the Haunted Mansion parlor will include a music box that "belonged to the captain's bride-to-be and only opens in the presence of malevolent spirits," a copy of the mantle clock that strikes 13 over the parlor's fireplace, a sculpted mug, and - finally - a mirror that reveals the hitchhiking ghosts.

Well @Russell, they could have my cash because I love this idea. If only they'd bring this to the WDW resort, their current bar/lounge line up like Trader Sam's AbracadaBar, J.L. Hanger Bar, Enchanted Rose and the Dahlia Lounge are my favorites.
Who's more desperate here: Disney to get Haunted Mansion fans' money, or Haunted Mansion fans to spend their money on this? Sounds like some mutual benefit to me.
I’d love to see something like this in Disney Springs. Even though Haunted Mansion is my favorite attraction, though, this alone isn’t enough to move the needle to get me on the cruise.
I'd rather they bring Adventurer's Club back to the Springs.
Yeah, this is one of the few things I've seen that make me think about getting on a cruise ship. Please bring something like this to land!

I love the Haunted Mansion and don't mind most of the ancillary revenue generation (movies, shows, and merchandise), but am I the only one who has zero interest in a bar on a cruise ship lightly themed around the IP? This might be interesting if they themed a small dining room around the ballroom from the attraction, but this just seems like a desperate cash grab IMHO.
