The biggest theme park industry event of the year might not be happening next month in Orlando, but the annual IAAPA Expo is going ahead online. Today, IAAPA released the agenda for its three-day IAAPA Expo Virtual Education Conference.
The online event runs from Monday, November 16 through Wednesday, November 18 and will kick off with a Keynote Presentation from Disney Parks Chairman Josh D'Amaro. Disney Parks' Executive Vice President, Digital & Global Chief Technology Officer Tilak Mandadi also will present on the conference's opening day.
The conference's second day will feature the annual enshrinement of new members into the IAAPA Hall of Fame, while the final day will see keynote presentations from Pamela Landwirth of Give Kids the World and Liseberg President and CEO Andreas Andersen on "Changing Attractions Change the World."
Each day will feature multiple concurrent education sessions — with 24 in total across the three days.
"While we remain disappointed we could not host IAAPA Expo 2020 in person, we still want to provide a global event for members," IAAPA President and CEO Hal McEvoy said. "Throughout the year our dedicated member volunteers planned the education conference portion of IAAPA Expo, and our team did not want that hard work – or the outstanding planned content – to go unheard or shared."
You can find the complete schedule on the IAAPA website. Registration is $49 per person for IAAPA members and $99 for non-members. The events will be webcast live and remain available on demand for registrants through December 31, 2021.

I may be able to attend an IAAPA expo for the first time? Great news.
