On Friday SeaWorld San Diego kicks off its annual Halloween Spooktacular, with a kid-friendly lineup of shows and attractions. And the park is looking to boost attendance for this modified event with a variety of ticket deals.
This year's Spooktacular will run Fridays through Sundays through November 1 and will include a new physically distanced trick or treating experience. Kids can follow the Spooktacular Trail to the Candy Garden where the treats will be delivered through the "trick" of a candy chute. Families also can enjoy an all-new Sesame Street Halloween Dance Party, an outdoor Monster Mash DJ Dance Party, and the return of the Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt. SeaWorld also is offering a new, upcharge Cookie Decorating with Cookie Monster and Elmo this year.
The park will be offering a Halloween menu of fall food items from pumpkin cheesecake to pumpkin ale. And SeaWorld's animal exhibits will be open, as well, including the Dolphin, Sea Lion and Orca Encounter presentations, with physically distant seating.
Reservations are required, and SeaWorld is offering a free child's admission with each full-priced adult admission this month. Annual Pass Members and Fun Card holders get free admission to the event, but must make a reservation in advance. Discounted tickets start at $73.99 for adults, and SeaWorld is also offering a Spooktacular Dine & Drink bundle that includes admission and a choice of six food items or beverages for $93.99. Tickets and reservations are available on SeaWorld's website. And check our travel partner for potential discounts on Spooktacular tickets in the days ahead, as well.
