Another California theme park has announced a special event in order to resume partial operations. This time, it's "Halloween in Miniland" at Legoland California.
Visitors can come in costume for the event, which will include a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt in Miniland U.S.A., Lego-building activities, physically distanced meet and greets, and a goody bag filled with candy "and a LEGO surprise."
If you're looking for something a bit more substantial than candy to eat, the park's Smoke House BBQ, Ninja Kitchen, and Granny’s Apple Fries will be open for guests, too.
Halloween in Miniland will run Fridays through Sundays from October 2 through the 31st at the Carlsbad theme park. Advance reservations will be required and are available in four-hour blocks: 3pm-7pm on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as 10am-2pm on Saturdays and 11am–3pm on Sundays.
Tickets are $12.99 but just $7.99 for Silver, Gold, Platinum, Elite, and Ambassador Annual Pass holders. They are available on the Legoland website.
Rides, shows, and other operations at Legoland California and other theme parks through the state remain closed as the industry awaits reopening rules from the California state government. However, outdoor dining, retail, zoos, and museums are permitted in the state, which has allowed some parks to open to guests with limited operations.
