A new roller coaster announcement? In 2020 — the year that ate new theme park attractions? We'll take it.
Idaho's Silverwood Theme Park delivered today with the announcement of its new-for-2021 coaster, Stunt Pilot. The RMC Raptor will top out at 106 feet then reach a top speed of 52 miles per hour while offering three inversions.
"The inspiration behind this new coaster comes from the beloved air shows that dominated the skies in the park's early beginnings," the park said in its press release. "One of the earliest features at the park was the air shows. This is the iconic memory of early visitors to the park, and many guests have asked to bring this show back."
Here's the announcement from the park:
Stunt Pilot will be Silverwood's first new coaster in more than a decade when it opens next year.

I'm really loving the Raptor model RMC has created (and which now Intamin will expand upon). Not only is it a really fast paced, intense, and aggressive model, but it fits perfectly with these smaller parks because of its really low cost. It can bring more local parks the push it up needs to become more attractive to guests. Of course you could go the SFMM or SFGA route and go the upcharge a bit to bet a bigger layout but this layout seems to be the standard for smaller parks. I think this'll fit perfectly with Silverwood. Can't wait to see this come to Kentucky Kingdom too (there's no way a T4 clone is going there lol)
