The most infamous scrap metal traders in the galaxy soon will be back in business on Batuu. The Walt Disney World Resort announced today that Savi's Workshop will reopen September 20 inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Savi's Workshop might look like a humble scrap metal shop on the outside, but Force-sensitive visitors to the Black Spire Outpost know that Savi's is the place to go to build your own lightsaber in Disney's Star Wars land. Reservations for experience will open September 16 via Disney World's official app or the Disney World website.
Due to the need to maintain safe social distancing inside the hidden and somewhat cramped lightsaber crafting room, Disney is further limiting its capacity. Walt Disney World initially had kept this limited-attendance experience closed when its theme parks reopened in July.
If you've not been and are curious, compare that new promo video from Disney with the experience at Disneyland when Savi's opened there last year.
The cost for the experience remains $199.99 plus tax, which includes your lightsaber and a carrying case, as well as admission to the experience for a guest to watch you. Park admission and a reservation under Disney's new Park Pass system is required for entry to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
