big weekend for new attractions at theme parks across America. And now we've got another one.
It was aThis one's not official yet — it's just a soft opening. But fans are getting their first rides on the new Mystic River Falls at Silver Dollar City. The park has posted a couple of sneak peeks - including a look at the ride's unique, 82-foot, four-platform rotating elevator lift tower. (Update: Scroll down for the official POV.)

We were all aboard the hype train for Mystic River Falls when the Branson, Mo. park announced its record-setting river rapids attraction last year. Designers have spun a yarn about the discovery of the park's Marvel Cave to add theming to this white water adventure - a nice "plus" for what already looked like it would be a thrilling addition to the park.
