Just because theme park fans never can get enough fresh roller coaster POV in their lives, here's a new video from the team at Vekoma, showing off its Firestorm Launch Coaster.
The coaster was designed for the Vinpearl theme park in Vietnam and launches into a top hat element, followed by a heartline roll, vertical loop and a corkscrew for its inversions. But there are plenty of high-speed curves on the course, too, including one great-looking ground-hugging curve and even a tunnel for good measure.
Now, it's all set on a construction site at the moment, so there's that, but the ride looks a fun layout from the Dutch manufacturer.
TweetVietnam? My thoughts exactly! I like how the coaster is very patriotic. All painted up in that nations flag colors.
strikes me as a nice ride. Can’t see it competing in the highest/fastest/loopiest stakes, but seems smooth with well thought out elements. I can’t see myself disappointed if I rode that.
Perhaps a few clues to the Raptor Coaster at IOA, the top hat part especially.

I really like the layout of this coaster. Vietnam, you say? I had no idea there was a park there. Someone should do a write-up!
