Universal Orlando Resort is offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at a few of its top attractions today, as part of a series of education videos.
The five "Science of Universal Orlando Resort" videos are part of the NBC Learn initiative and are designed to teach science and math concepts to young students. But even if you already know Newton's laws of motion, vector paths, and what the six degrees of freedom on a motion base ride are, you can geek out on the backstage looks included in each video.
Transformers: The Ride 3D
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
Skull Island: Reign of Kong
Revenge of the Mummy
Jurassic Park
What's your favorite fun fact from the series? Or, since I might be talking to some people there soon, what else would you like to know about the science of Universal Orlando?

Thanks for this Robert. I am a physics teacher and our yearly trip to an amusement park has been canceled. We are doing remote learning for the rest of the school year, and something like this would be perfect to show to the students to at least get something related to the physics of amusement park rides. If you come across any others please share them. They are also interesting to watch from a personal perspective. I enjoy finding out about the physics and science that goes into the design and engineering of the rides.
