Do you hear that? It's the sound of a giant iron crocodile coming to life.
Busch Gardens Tampa over the weekend placed the final track pieces for its upcoming RMC hybrid coaster, Iron Gwazi.

We visited the new coaster earlier this year for a construction tour, so it's great to see the track work finally get done on this highly anticipated thrill ride. Iron Gwazi will be the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world as well as the tallest hybrid roller coaster in North America, featuring a 91-degree drop from a height of 206 feet and a top speed of 76 miles per hour. Iron Gwazi will include three inversions and 12 airtime hills on 4,075 feet of track.
