Cedar Point is celebrating is 150th birthday this year, and the Ohio park just announced a big giveaway for its fans.
Starting next week, Cedar Point will give away a free "Ticket of a Lifetime" each week for the next 25 weeks. The winners each will receive a free lifetime pass to Cedar Point and its Cedar Point Shores waterpark, including free parking on the peninsula. Each winner can choose up to three friends or family members to get a Ticket of a Lifetime, too, for a total of four lifetime passes for each winner.
The park will select a total of 150 winners during the promotion, including the 25 online sweepstakes winners as well as winners from inside the park and from partners. To enter online, visit Cedar Point's ticketofalifetime.com website and register, starting February 24. You'll need to log in and enter weekly for each chance to win.
"The Ticket of a Lifetime is an idea as big as Cedar Point – to celebrate our biggest year in the biggest way for our biggest fans to enjoy for the rest of their lives," said Cedar Point VP and GM Jason McClure said. "The park has always been a place where people create lasting memories together. While this year will surely be incredible for the Ticket of a Lifetime winners, it will be truly special for all guests with so many new things to experience, along with new ways for friends and families to reconnect."
In addition to the contest, Cedar Point is opening the new Snake River Expedition ride and Celebrate 150 Spectacular nighttime parade this summer. Other additions for the anniversary will include special food, merchandise, and a new toll plaza and signage on the Cedar Point Causeway.

So....is this open to anybody even though I live in Ca?
Aren't the passes for Cedar Fair Parks good for all the parks in the chain? Is this "Lifetime Pass" only good at Cedar Point or can it be used at any of the parks?
