Texas Stingray? The new-for-2020 coaster at SeaWorld San Antonio is already testing, and the park just sent along some first-look video from its initial run.
Who's ready to rideThis Great Coasters International wooden coaster features a 3,379-foot track, a 100-foot drop from a 96-foot lift hill, a 100-foot tunnel, and a top speed of 55 mph. When it opens, it will become Texas' tallest, fastest, and longest wooden coaster, following the RMC conversion of the old Texas Giant over at the original Six Flags in Arlington.
The park said that the ride will open in spring 2020, though it hasn't yet confirmed a specific date. But SeaWorld San Antonio reopens on Saturday, February 22, after its short winter break beginning on Monday, January 6.

TweetGCI has been doing great work over the past few years, and this new coaster really rounds out the lineup for a park that doesn't get the attention it deserves from thrill seekers, especially since you can easily visit this park and SFFT in the same day. With Iron Rattler up the road, Sea World San Antonio is able to offer a different experience here with a true woodie, but with the smooth ride derived from the millennium flyer trains and more precise computer-aided design that GCI has employed in their recent installations.

Invadr is a criminally underrated coaster, I think this will be a great addition to SWSA!
