Knott's Berry Farm today, highlighted by a new show on the Calico Mine Stage.
The annual Knott's Merry Farm holiday celebration kicked off at
Home for the Holidays is a 25-minute musical that shows us Christmas Eve, Night, and Morning with a family who doesn't get visited by any judgmental ghosts or guardian angels, though Santa Claus puts in a cameo. It's all good cheer... with some great dancing.
Other holiday performances at Knott's Merry Farm this season include the return of the Merry Christmas Snoopy! ice show at the Charles M. Schulz Theatre on select dates...
And the return of the A Peanuts Guide to Christmas show on the Camp Snoopy stage.
Marley’s Wings, a "sequel" to A Christmas Carol, plays at the Bird Cage Theatre, while Santa Claus greets Knott's visitors around the corner at Santa’s Christmas Cabin in the Wilderness Dance Hall. You also can find milk, cookies, and other snacks (including wine and seasonal beers) for sale there, too.
And each evening at sunset, you'll find a tree lighting ceremony in Calico Square, followed by the Snow and Glow snowfall every hour from sunset until park close.
Knott's also is rolling out plenty of specialty food and merchandise for the season, too.
Knott's invited us to sample a few of the holiday dishes, and I most enjoyed the Holiday Poutine, but the fried Turkey Dinner balls, filled with turkey and stuffing, were pretty tasty, too. Heck, I didn't find a thing I disliked and had to pull myself away from the food lest I end up more stuffed than the Holiday Bird of Honor itself.
Knott's Merry Farm continues daily through January 5, 2020.

Who else is here?
(If we get enough responses, I will post what I believe to be the only video currently online of me in a show choir performance.)
Oh they're out there...the question is, will they admit it! LOL

Back in the late 80s, my high school's show choir used to perform a 1/2 hour Christmas show just like "Home for the Holidays". I am tickled to death that this type of show is still being performed at theme parks almost 30 years past the time when they were very popular!
