Universal Orlando's eighth hotel will open on March 17 next year, the resort announced today.
Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites will be the second - and larger - half of the Endless Summer Resort that Universal has built on the site of the old Wet 'n Wild water park and its parking lot. The first phase, Surfside Inn and Suites, opened last June.
Dockside Inn and Suites will add 2,050 guest rooms to Universal Orlando's inventory when it opens in March, including standard rooms and two-bedroom suites. Like its sibling across Universal Boulevard, Dockside Inn and Suites will be a budget-priced hotel, with rates starting as low as $85 a night with a multi-night booking.
Guests staying at either Endless Summer Resort will get complimentary bus transportation for the one-mile trip to or from Universal's transportation hub next to CityWalk. Other hotel benefits include Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, as well merchandise delivery and room charging in the parks and at CityWalk.
You can now check rates for Universal's Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites for stays starting March 17, 2020 through our authorized travel partner, including Universal Orlando vacation packages.

It makes sense they want more rooms coming for the third park and another shot on WDW. I do like it as still recall the problem of only a couple of Universal hotels and still amazed how much it's grown over the years.
