Disneyland announces dates for two 2020 festivals

October 29, 2019, 12:47 PM · The Disneyland Resort today announced the dates for two of its popular winter and spring festivals at Disney California Adventure theme park.

First up, the annual Lunar New Year celebration will run for 24 days from January 17 to February 9, 2020. It will be the "Year of the Mouse" this year, so I wonder which Disney character the park will select to help with this event? Hmmm....

Minnie and Mickey

Beyond that, Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession show will return, as will the festival's food marketplaces featuring Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine. Special activities and merchandise will complete the offerings at the festival.

After that, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will return for 54 days from February 28 to April 21. More than a dozen festival marketplaces will be part of the event, with specifics including menus yet to be announced. But Disney is also promising the return of the Food & Wine Festival's live entertainment and culinary seminars and demonstrations... including a few with Chef Goofy. The Sip and Savor Pass will be back, too.

More details will come in the weeks ahead as we move through the holidays and into the new year.
