Universal Studios Hollywood today announced its final maze for this year's Halloween Horror Nights... and it's an original concept, "The Curse of Pandora’s Box."
Set behind a dilapidated storefront that evokes the back alleys of Victorian London, the maze takes visitors through "Pandora's Cabinet of Curiosities," an "all-consuming collection of evil," according to the park's press release.
As guests pass through the shop they will hear a faint, yet seductive voice echoing the words, “anything can be acquired, anything our hearts desire,” beckoning maze-goers to tempt fate, just as a cataclysmic earthquake erupts, shaking the shop and swinging open the ornate box to awaken a demonic voice whispering in a foreign tongue to “come inside.”Once Pandora’s Box has been opened and evil unleashed, it can never be closed again.
The Curse of Pandora’s Box is the 10th maze at Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights this year, joining Jordan Peele's Us, Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, Creepshow, Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses, Holidayz in Hell, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, and the year-round Walking Dead Attraction.
Halloween Horror Nights starts officially on Friday, September 13 in Hollywood, with a Fan Preview Night the evening before. We have Halloween Horror Nights Day/Night Combo tickets available now for $169 on our Universal Studios Hollywood tickets page.
