Legoland Florida's next hotel will open May 22, 2020... and the resort is now taking reservations.
Legoland's Pirate Island Hotel is now under construction next to the resort's original Legoland Hotel. The new hotel will offer 150 pirate-themed rooms, a pool, and Legoland's in-room treasure hunts.
In addition, Legoland has announced the hotel's new dining facilities: the Shipwreck Restaurant, which will serve a complimentary breakfast to hotel guests, and the Smuggler’s Bar, for adult pirates.
Reservations with vacation packages are now available for the Pirate Island Hotel. If you are thinking about a Legoland visit before next May, however, we have some exclusive discounts available on our Legoland Florida tickets page, as well as reservations available for the Legoland Hotel.

Merlin Entertainments has made a mission out of adding on-site hotels to all of their theme park gates worldwide and this has certainly been a good strategy for both their LEGOLAND and Resort Theme Parks divisions. While they may not have any single theme park in the world's top 20, the group remains the second largest in the industry on global attendance and they have specialized in short break vacations. Which is working well enough that they have seen a need for additional on-site hotels at many of their properties. Makes one wonder if certain other regional theme park chain operators might benefit from emulating this strategy.
