wrap-up yesterday, we mentioned that the biggest potential competitor for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge this summer was Universal's new Harry Potter ride at Islands of Adventure.
In ourWe didn't say the new ride's name five times into a mirror at Cabrini-Green, but I guess we summoned it just the same, as Universal Orlando announced this morning that it will announce more news about Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure next week.
We know what we'll be doing on March 12. Please forward our mail and calls.#WizardingWorldOrlando pic.twitter.com/IbhzaSL4bW

Yeah, it's an announcement about an announcement. But we're all aboard this hype train and not getting off now, so check here on Theme Park Insider next Tuesday morning for our reaction and whatever context about the announcement that we can bring to the table.
It's hard to imagine what else Universal has left to tell us about this ride that wouldn't be an outright spoiler. We know the theme, the setting, the name, and the opening date. So what else is there that you'd like to hear officially from Universal?
TweetIf it isn't "leaked" from their internal corporate Town Hall meeting last December, then that's newsworthy in itself;) since that's become the top source of Universal theme park news for months. More amazed Comcast waited a day to try to outshout the Star Wars Galaxy's Edge news when they were obviously aware that Scrooge McDuck was holding a shareholders meeting- guess they were caught off guard by Darth Iger's earlier opening plans and expected it to be mostly about Disney+ streaming opening the vault. Been wondering how Universal can have Mario, probably the world's most famous plumber, on their team and still have so many "leaks";)
@Dave "Been wondering how Universal can have Mario, probably the world's most famous plumber, on their team and still have so many "leaks" I'm on the floor LOL
The Mousiah is glad you enjoyed that:) I am also available for theme park related weddings and bar mitzvahs....
Haha! Nice Candyman pop culture reference Robert!
