Happy Lunar New Year! The celebrations got underway earlier at Southern California's theme parks, but today's the actual date of the annual event. So we took up Universal's invitation to spend the morning with the characters from Kung Fu Panda at Universal Studios Hollywood.
And Universal's other characters are celebrating the event, too.
Lunar New Year continues at the park through February 18, with additional performances just announced:
Finally, because we were there and it's hard not to notice the construction going on next door to Universal Plaza, work continues on the still-unannounced attraction replacing the park's Globe Theatre.
