Are you feeling lucky?
It's time again for us to clear the warehouse at Theme Park Insider and give away some of the swag that we have collected at various media events for recent theme park attraction openings.
We have three prize packs to give away here on the Blog Flume, starting with this package of Pixar-themed goodies from the Disneyland Resort.
The collection includes a Pixar Pier beach towel, two Pixar Fest Mickey ears (with Woody and Buzz, plus Edna and Jack-Jack), Pixar Pier and Pixar Fest totes, a Bambino plush, and Matthew Reinhart's "Pixar: A Pop-Up Celebration," which is a $40 value by itself.
Later this week, we will give away a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed prize pack, as well as a Toy Story-themed pack. And watch the Discussion Forum for a couple of bonus giveaways, too.
So how do you enter? First, you must be a registered member of Theme Park Insider. Here is where to register, if you haven't already. It's free and takes only a moment.
Then, you must be signed up for our Theme Park Insider newsletter, too. We send it out about twice a week, and it includes links to all the new content on our front page and Discussion Forum, so you won't miss any of the news from the site. Please use the same email address to subscribe to the newsletter as you used to register for the site, so I can tell you've signed up for both. Here is the link to subscribe to our newsletter.
(If you registered for Theme Park Insider in the past and need to change that email address to match the one you will be using for the newsletter, you can do that here.)
The third and final step is to log into Theme Park Insider and respond to this post! One response per person, please. You must also by 18 years or older, have a mailing address in the United States ('cause... postage, plus laws about contests and stuff), and not have written a front-page article for us in the past 12 months to be eligible to win.
Want an extra chance to win? I will award a bonus entry to the person who writes the best comment about a Pixar-themed attraction in his or her response to this post. I will be the sole judge of which response gets the extra entry and my decision is final.
I will select a prospective prize winner at random from among the people who respond to this post whose registered email address with Theme Park Insider is also on our email newsletter subscriber list, with the bonus entry for the selected reader. I will contact the prospective winner via email and if he or she is old enough and has a U.S. mailing address, I will send him or her the prize. If not, I will select another prospective winner until I find an eligible one.
Because you must be registered to win, please don't bother with anonymous responses for this one. (The response form below will tell you if you are logged in or not.) Deadline is one week from when this post goes live, which is when the comments will close. I will update the post once the winner is selected, to let everyone know.
Good luck, and thank you — as always — for being part of the Theme Park Insider community!
Update: Congratulations to our winner, Shaun Fisher!
TweetSuch a cool idea!
I'm in. Long time lurker!
I'm ineligible :(
Though I've amassed quite a collection of theme park media day swag (lanyards up the wazoo).
Giving it a go! Hi.
Thanks, Robert, for putting this together.
I'd like to enter. Think it's been several years since I last wrote a front-page article.
EDIT: Was at little Vroman's in Hastings Ranch this afternoon and saw the Pixar pop-up book which they were selling for $65. It looked Pixar-ific!
Got to be in it to win it! Thanks for all you do. Great site!!!
I'm in! When I was at Pixar Pier last weekend my sister brought me over what I thought was a treat from the Adorable Snowman ice cream stand. It wasn't.
Yes please!
Hey, the last thing I "won" was the US Selective Service Draft. This sounds
like a much cooler prize.
I'm in and I have a comment for all Pixar attractions: Meh....
Pixar, from it's start to 2010 was an amazing movie company who revolutionized the computer animated movie. After that watch this it's really good: https://youtu.be/KAIz7k5If24
As for the attractions, non of them have the hart nor the excitement and wonder the movies had upon the take over.
I love swag! I am in!
Hello! Dreaming of Totchos... but settling for a tiny bag of Baked Lays. Not a good substitute. I wish I lived closer to Toy Story Land! :)
I'd love to share those goodies with my kids!
Count me in, I'm always down for a fun prize pack and I thoroughly enjoy the site and............................SQUIRREL!!!!
It would be Incredibles 2 win!

Free Stuff!!
Please pick me.
Hope I'm in.
Count me in too :)
Went to Pixar Fest in May and almost everything was gone. So cool! Thank you!
Hi.
Me too
Sounds like an interesting give away.
Thought I was on the newsletter list already. I am now.
Thought I had already "liked" on Facebook. Did that recently.
I remember (long time ago), working in the AV department at the Disneyland Hotel, during the Siggraph conference, seeing this little thing being shown, with a rubber ball and a lamp. Couldn't believe the new computer technology from all of them, and how much this little film stuck out from all of the competition. The others were just moving shapes. This one had actual figures that became characters and a story. History was being made. Glad I could be there. Great to see what they have become.
Recently finished Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull. Highly recommended reading for the way all companies should be.
Man... I would love to surprise my daughter with some magic!
I totally want in! :) thank you for putting this on! I would love to provide some cool comments about the attractions but sadly I have not been....yet. But I do love the level they took animation to!!
Thanks for being willing to give away stuff!
I love what Disney has been doing with some rides lately where it's half dark ride, half thrill ride. Radiator Springs Racers is amazing for all ages because it gives you some story (and even an original story, not a retelling of the movie like many dark rides) and then makes you smile and laugh during the race. The scenery is so well-designed, too. That's why it's one of my favorite rides in any Disney park, and I hope they keep doing more like this one and Seven Dwarves Mine Train in WDW with the same sort of model.
I am in ?? need me some pixar fest merch
Thanks for putting this together! Loved La Luna! :)
Could use a little Disney magic! :)
I’ve personally always enjoyed the immersive universe that Disney and Pixar create together. I’ve been to Disneyland California and witnessed the universe of A Bug’s Life come to a larger scale to make you feel as if you’re a big yourself. I’ve also been lucky enough to travel to Disneyland Paris and feel like a toy amongst the large Toy Story Land universe as well. Soon I will be going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see their land brought to life which I’m sure is on par with all of Disney and Pixar’s work. I do enjoy how I’m each Disney Park that currently offers a Toy Story Land they put emphasis on a different character from the movie.
Sign me up!
I would love to win something. It didn't take the free stuff to get me to read Theme Park Insider I have been following ot for a long time.. but i have to say the possibility of winning did get me to register and sign up for the news letter??
I didn't start Disney til later in life, but who doesn't want swag?
My sons favorite disney movie is toy story getting this would make his birthday great. We are in it to win it!!!!!
Cars Land was like the movie come to life. My son was in heaven. Those cars connected him to our world - he has autism. And for him to see his friends in real life was the most amazing experience for all of us. The carburator canyon ride made us cry. Perfectly timed to the movie and so much fun at the end!
It would be cool to win! I'll enter & just go with the "Flo"......Hopefully, the swag includes an INCREDI"coaster"!
One could use it to set a c"UP" of "COCO" on....(unless you spill it & have to turn your shirt Inside Out)
Sign me up
New here and I’m in!
Not creative enough for a Pixar story with bonus entry, but I'm in otherwise!
It always good to win free stuff
Count me in. My Pixar comment: Enjoy Robert’s last ride on Toy Story Mania https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c-B13nHy9DY
Woohoo!

Every time I get on Toy Story Midway Mania!, I psych myself up by thinking "I AM A TOYYYY!!"*
*Consider this my entry + bonus entry**
**Hopefully
Whoo-hoo! Disney stuff!
Yay swag!
I have been telling people that the imagineers did an "incredible" job turning California Screamin' into the Incredicoaster
I am so in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Longtime reader, first time commenter! Would love to surprise my little guy with some goodies! Making our first trip to Toy Story Land the end of February 2019! Thanks for all you do at Theme Park Insider covering the parks!
I am in and waiting to win
I would love to see a wall•e attraction. To me that is the best movie Pixar made so far. Look forward to the goodies. My nephew of three years is a total Cars fan.
Mail address in the USA can be with my LA friends.
I'm in! Thanks for doing this!
I'm in. Would be cool to win for my daughter
Awesome idea! Would love to win some theme park swag!
Thanks for the chance!
Funny...until I went to post a comment, I thought that I was registered, esp since I've been getting the great informative newsletter for so long So, now, I am official. My new favorite Pixar-themed "attraction" is Woody's Lunch Box! I know it's not a "ride" but I loved the grown-up grilled cheese - so rich and gooey! The raspberry lunch box tart was yummy, sweet, a far cry from toaster pastries I had as a kid! Only issue is that it really needs far more seating. Cannot wait to return for grown-up lemonade!
Cool stuff!
Count me in! We're getting hyped about our Disney vacation in September. Can't wait to see Toy Story land. We're staying in a Cars suite at Art of Animation, so it'll be a Pixar theme all the way around. Now....if Pixar would do a sequel to A Bug's Life, my life would be complete, lol.
Yo!
I love winning stuff! The new toy story land at disney is great!
Thanks! These are some really nice prizes!
I’ll take anything, I love presents.
I'm in.
The best thing that can be said about Toy Story Mania is that it has a time limit that kicks everyone out of the video game after a couple of minutes. I find it ironic that people will play games on their phone for an hour while waiting in line to play a real-life video game that only last a couple of minutes.
I'm in.
I'm in too! I was at Disneyland in May but sadly just missed the opening of Incredicoaster. Looking forward to my upcoming trip to WDW to try out the new Slinky Dog Dash though.
And I know Toy Story Mania has its issues, but my husband and I love it. It's fun, it's competitive without being overly difficult, and with Fast Pass, you can skip the ungodly wait to play a video game. We prefer it to Buzz, even though the pull string mechanism isn't as good as the triggers from Buzz.
I am definitely in.
I personally love everything Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. I was practically raised as a Disney kid, we went at least twice a year until I was 10. Now I even have my car decked out in Mickey Mouse gear. These prizes seem amazing!!!!
Out of all the Pixar rides and attractions in California Adventure, I love the Monsters Inc. ride. I love Mike and Sully, so this adventure is awesome. I also really enjoy Toy Story and all of their fun rides/ attractions.
And another ride I absolutely love is the Guardian of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!!!!! I am a massive fan of all the art work and creativity that went into the walking part of the ride. This is much better than Tower of Terror, I have to say.
I am in, looks good
I've long loved Disney films but in all honesty it was the Pixar movies that reinvigorated my love of Disney films for my kiddos. I absolutely LOVE that so many come with the same life lessons that Disney has always had in undertones but that they even contain new cultural lessons that have opened up the curiosity to learn more.
Toy Story is our ABSOLUTE favorite movies as a family. <3 Seeing the movies represented in the nighttime fireworks display just for Pixar Fest was amazing! We watch it on YouTube often. :-)
My daughter would love this
Thank you for putting this together, it makes me happy to see Disney/Pixar bringing people together and spreading the love!
Three great prize packs, can never get too much Disney!
My family and I went to DCA in March and unfortunately missed the opening of Pixar Pier, but we did get to ride Midway Mania for the first time! My toddler loved it! Can't wait to come back and ride the Incredicoaster!
Love the blog and have read for years -- and used the information! Finally found a way to "make" me sign up :)
Love Disney especially as we live on the West Coast but also go to WDW at least every 2 years if not more. Disneyland and WDW is the one place where I get my "little kids" back. Mickey ears go on, we wait in line to have our picture taken with Buzz Lightyear, etc. Have been doing it for over 20 years and I love to see a glimpse of my little ones occasionally!
It will be many years before I can afford to back at any theme park. I am very appreciative for all you do.
And...We're in!
Pixar attraction opinion: Radiator Springs Racers was not only instrumental in the resurrection of California Adventure, it is the pinnacle of test track-style attractions.
Caveat: I've not made it to Tokyo DisneySea, so cannot confirm the awesomeness of Journey to the Center of the Earth.
For those who have not yet experienced Toy Story Land, it is awesome-sauce! The new Toy Story Land at WDW turns guests into “honorary toys” and allows them to “play big” in a world of a child’s imagination. Giant building blocks, Tinkertoys, board-game pieces, Dominoes, Scrabble tiles, and a giant roller coaster set. You actually feel like you are in Andy’s backyard.
I’m in! I love your articles! They are the highlight to my day

Theme park swag? Is there any better swag out there??
Better to be in than out, so pick me then. Pick me, pick me!!!
I'm putting my toe in here !
I love these contests! Maybe my chances are slim, but I always pretend like I have a chance! "You can't win if you don't play!"
I "met" Russell and Dug at Animal Kingdom Park. I'm now a Wilderness Explorer!
I'm entering your contest so I can get my "Contest Winner' Wilderness Explorer badge.
Throwing my goofy hat in the ring!
I would love to win this prize pack. My daughter and I love Pixar and this would make our year
Love Pixar and would love this prize pack. We were at Disneyland/California Adventure on Wednesday and enjoyed checking out the finished parts of Pixar Pier. I thought it would all be done by now, but no. The Incrediboaster and up and down all day, mainly down. We even saw it stuck and guests being taken off. So never got to ride it even though that was one of the main goals of the day. Pixar Pier is cool though and looking forward to going back again soon.

Very Cool
This is awesome! To infinity and beyond!!
Done and done! I love this site
I'm in!
I'm down!! and for my bonus entry, enjoy a little pixar joke:
Q: What's your opinion on photography??
A: Pix ar(e) cool!!
(please excuse how terrible that was)
Just seeing this now, as I was in WDW this week, and not reading emails. This is so cool!
I love the more unique reporting style of this website especially with the opinion pieces!
Defiantly in.
I’m in! We LOVE the new Pixar Pier, and can’t wait to watch as it continues to transform. Now if only we can transport the Monster’s Inc. ride over to the Pier! The Lamplight Lounge is incredible (no pun intended). We adore the dynamic changes, expansions, and immersive themed-lands being built.
Buying Pixar was the best investment Disney ever made
I know that it will probably break all kinds of ticket sale records, etc, but I am of the belief that they really should have stopped at Toy Story 3. It was such an emotionally draining experience that the franchise should have ended as a trilogy.
Count me in
Loved the concept. Bummed I couldn't visit in person.
Pick me!
I’m here!! :)
