Here's the poll for Theme Park Apprentice Challenge 6. This week our contestants were creating some sort ofPoll closed
TweetWow...great stuff. I have been somewhat of a lurker on these postings for a bit due to an unbelievably insane work schedule these past few months, but I am finally getting a bit caught up...for now, anyway!
I really do like all the ideas, however I have to rule out a few right off the bat:
1) I can't ice skate, so the skating rink is off the books (although it would be a wonderful idea for most others).
2) My rocking days are over and since the original lineup of Styx will never tour together again, I don't want to even have a chance of the current incarnation of Styx desecrating the classic songs while I am visiting "the World" - so, no Rock 'n' Roll Lagoon.
3) And regrettably, I am not into audience participation, mystery theater, or improv... although I am sure many others are indeed!
So, that leaves the Steam Boat and two theaters. I will vote for one of the three, but not yet... which one of you is offering the best deal for registered TPI fanatics? Do I get to visit the helm on the Steam Boat? How about front row, center at the theaters?
The best deal wins! =)
Seriously, all terrific ideas... if I ever own a theme park, I am hiring all of you to be part of my creative team for sure!
^James, how about four seats of your choice opening night of each show at Renaissance Theater, I let you be on the first ride of "Titanic-The Final Plunge", and I design a special park just for you consisting of nothing but unthemed carnival rides with hidden explosives so that you can blow it all up on opening/closing day? I'll even throw in a recreation of Jungle Cruise and your own bulldozer!
James, you had me at "four seats of your choice" (although I do need a fifth one for my third child), but the inclusion of exploding carnival rides and that final bulldozer comment put you way over the top! You got my vote, brother!
You've got the fifth seat. Need a booster? Wow, that was easy- I was going to throw in a "James Rao" character in the new stage version of "Newsies"!
SOLD!
By the way, NEWSIES is a totally under-appreciated Disney classic... I love that flick - Alan Menken RULZ!
Speaking of Alan Menken - TANGLED was pretty darn good too!
Adam and Anthony, Y'all did a great job. I would love seeing these back. I doubt disney would just bring back 3 clubs though. Adam i though yours would also be very pricey since guests would see it for free(or would they not?). I'll still try to post stuff if i'm out though!

I like Dan's Ice Idea, but then again, I am a skater :)
