Well, Walt Disney World fans, get ready for your own version, because Disney World President Meg Crofton announced today in Orlando that Disney World would adopt that promotion this year, too.
As part of WDW's Summer Nightastic, the Main Street Electrical Parade will return to the Magic Kingdom, along with some new floats. There will also be a new fireworks show, as well as new effects at the Tower of Terror.

Though I was always a fan of Spectromagic! Still can't beat a classic! Not going to WDW this summer, but rather ironically, to Disneyland
Greatest. MSEP. Comment. Ever.
I went to California Adventures May 2006 to see this parade and almost missed it because they ran it at limited times on weekends. If I had a vote I'd send Spectromagic to California for 2 years or longer. I have not been to Disney World in 2 years, but this attraction will draw me back unless it runs only to the end of summer. We do home school and only vacation to Disney outside of the summer crowds.
In 2002 our family visited 36 theme parks-11 were Six Flags
We did as many 29 parks in a 35 day period. This pre summer we were planning a 14 day roller coaster run to 14 parks from as far as East - Knobel's to West - Fronteer City; North to Michigan Great Adventure and South Six Flags over Texas.
We plan on a season pass to Blue Bayou Water Park. The Electric Parade could change our plans to divert or to include. Time will tell.
