Ever Feel like you got gypped on a Vacation.

Here is an example – I got a cold on the first day of an 8 day stay in Orlando a few years back – and I always felt like I got ripped off. It wasn’t until the last two days I felt like myself and was able to enjoy some rides while no longer wiping my nose.

Another time we stayed at a different resort - we like The Sheraton Vistana resorts in Orlando, But it was April and the Prices were way to high. Therefore, we found a deal at Orange Lake Resort -it was in Kissimmee and not the usual area we enjoy. Again, I felt like it was not a full vacation, somehow something was missing.

Also stayed at Blue Green and Floridays and they both felt good.

Maybe it’s the Area I was missing – Not sure – Please send more research monies.

Yes, on all of our Disney trips back in the early 2000s. The FastPass paper system was being worked by the pros/ Pixie Dusters, so there were never any to be had. We got on maybe 4-5 rides a day (including extra magic hours). Getting around was a pain, and the trip had to planned down to the minute.

Wife booked Universal onsite (Royal Pacific) in 2003, and we never looked back. Unlimited Express in peak Summer and still able to his every ride on both parks twice every day. No buses, no rental car, and everything on one property.

We even went to Universal during a tropical depression once. It rained almost all day, every day. I still felt like we had a better trip than any Disney visit. I also didn't get the Disney "magic" we expected. Just a sea of strollers, 2 hour lines for spinners, and almost nowhere to get food without a long wait.
