Planning a trip to SoCal. Need help

July 9, 2021, 6:39 PM

Last time we traveled to California was Halloween 2019. I've been out of the game for a long time and feel like a noob.

Possible dates: September 15 - 19

Main objective: Attend USH HHN

Secondary objective: Spend a couple of nights at Disneyland Resort

One of my main concerns is the vaccine. Im already vaccinated but its a vaccine thats mostly unrecognised in the US (Cansino). As far as I can tell, they will let "unvaccinated" visitors inside the park as long a we wear a facemask, correct? We visit from outside the uS so we will be carrying our negative tests anyway.

Any guesstimates as to when USH will start selling The tickets?

Our last trip was prepandemic, let us know all the changes there have been, like, do we need a reservation for disneyland?

Thanks in advance

Most likely in a few months as disney is already selling tickets for boo bash. I'm afraid I'm not a specialist for Disney Land Resort so I can't help much

As of now you do not need to wear a mask or have proof of vaccine, you do need a reservation for Disneyland, and for HHN they sell tickets for each specific night so you will need to make sure to buy a ticket for the date you want to go to and they do sell out. Sorry it looks like they are on sale for Orlando but not for Hollywood yet.

Other than having to make a reservation to get into the parks (and Disney not having Fastpass anymore), the USA in general, is pretty much back to normal. Most people are vaccinated and very few people are wearing masks.

There are still some areas of the country, particularly rural areas you will not be going to, where vaccination rates are very low which is causing a spread of the delta variant and because of that some are predicting that mask mandates might come back in the fall. But as of now everything is operating as normal and people aren't wearing masks.
