Wow! I was totally surprised by this ride. This is because MotionGate doesn’t have very good rides, to be frank. But this was one of the best indoor rides I’ve ever been on. The ride system is a suspended, floor less, programmable Inverted Powered Coaster system by Mack Rides much like HP and the Forbidden Journey. It also spins, which is done well to highlight the scenes of the ride and isn’t a gimmick to get you sick. The way it is powered means you can go up as fast as you go down, which is a unique experience. The ride slows and stops at several points for show elements and ends with a soaring flight through a very well themed show building. And I mean Disney/Universal level theming. All of the areas in the DreamWorks building at MG are very well done. You could drop this building in and D or U park and it would fit right in. I would love to see more of this type of ride experience at theme parks, as it is truly thrilling and amazing.
