Where would you work at Universal?

Universal Orlando: Dream jobs, part two

Same question as the Disney thread, but Universal instead.

I've always wanted to do an overnight camping trip inside the E.T. Adventure...so definitely E.T....aaaaaah the peaceful tranquility of the forest...aaaaah the smell!

First off, Mark, that is an amazing idea. I would totally be down for a camping trip in that ride.

As for the dream Universal job? No contest. For me, I would be a skipper for Captain Jake's Amity Boat Tours on the Jaws ride. It is my all time favorite ride based on my all time favorite movie (a movie that forever sat in the back of my mind whenever we would go on vacation out on Cape Cod).

You have a nice captive audience. You have rollicking water adventure, explosions and grenade launchers. Just the perfect perfect ride.

These are the things I think about when I sit in my office

Id ahve to agree with Jaws and the camping trip, but id also be pretty happy to be the host on Disaster! The hosts always seem to be pretty good and the chance to mickey take out on the public? Sign me up.

Well I would go a little different direction than a ride. I would want to work at Mythos as a waiter because if you get to keep your tips you would probably make pretty decent money and it is air conditioned and a good view of the lake and the rest of the park.

I would probaly like to drive the water taxis to and from the resorts and theme parks. I would also like to do jaws because you also drive a boat not sure if you actually drive it it's a ride and you get to shoot a shark during the ride while everyones screaming KILL IT KILL IT!!!. The last thing I would love to work for in universal is to be one of the people in costume at Hogwarts. Who wouldn't want to do that I think that would be pretty cool!

Has to be in Honeydukes, no contest. You get to nibble sweets, plus then you get to double up and work in Zonkos and give the funny presentation every time someone buys a Pigmy Puff!!!

Definitely without a doubt the revenge of the mummy ride!!!! You get to be in the air conditioning, plus you get to creep the riders out as they are getting on! Plus it's like the best ride at universal! But my second choice would have to be working inside the harry potter castle! (:

Since I've already been a skipper for the Jungle Cruise, I've always liked to try my sea legs slaying sharks when I'm not providing a historic 2 hour tour of Amity . . . or Universal Creative :)

Obviously being a Potterhead I would want to work in WWoHP. But INSIDE. Not the poor souls at the entrance gates in full garb. MIB would be a blast being the first person in the opening room. If they had the people in Twister do more I would love to be there. Jaws is of course fun. I could have fun though being Rogue or Storm. Now they have Can-Am Spiders to drive...and that is fun

This is a tough one... although IOA has the outdoor thrill rides and US has more immersion / simulations, I think I would have to choose a job at US that keeps me walking all over the park for exercise and a chance to see every area (plus the behind the scenes).

I would not want to be confined to one place all day long. Actually, a two-park VIP tour guide job would be ideal. I love to have fun and talk to people I just met, have no fear of public speaking.

I could never imagine wanting to work outside in a Florida theme park in the summer. The weather is just too brutal. It is hard enough to be a summertime guest, I feel so sorry for the people working...especially in the Wizarding World. If anything, I am with NB and think it would be fun to be a VIP tour guide. I love knowing all the little fun facts about theme parks. That would be my "real job" but for fun...

It would be awesome to be a Scareactor during HHN! I would love to scream at and scare people for more than a month and get to wear those great costumes!

From Roger Shurp

I would work at the MIB Alien Attack ride. It's a white collared job (costume would make me feel important) AND your working in a building so it's air conditioned! =P

I can't decide between two places. The first is working on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. I think it would be so cool to work at Hogwarts Castle everyday. If that doesn't get you excited to go to work, I don't know what does! The second would be to work on the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride just because of the cool uniforms! I mean who doesn't want to have a legitimate reason to wear a train conductor hat! :) So I guess my dream job would be to work at the Forbidden Journey while wearing the Seuss Trolley uniform! A guy can dream... right!? :)

From April C

I actually already work at the park and I enjoy it very much. :)

If I had the chance to transfer, I'd probably want to do VIP Tours. I think it'd be fun to be able to meet lots of new people and show them some of my favorite attractions. :)

If I had any ounce of talent, I'd love to do something entertainment related...
