Disney's in-house fan club, D23, announced its slate of 2019 events this morning at the Destination D event at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The biggie is the D23 Expo, which was previously announced for August 23-25 at the Anaheim Convention Center, across the street from the Disneyland Resort. Next year is D23's 10th anniversary, so the organization is celebrating with a year-long "Fanniversary." Highlights include an expansion of the Burbank studio tours, which will add monthly tours on a weekday starting in March that are open to all D23 members. The current quarterly Saturday tours for Gold members will continue in 2019, as well.
D23 is expanding its Lunch with a Disney Legend program beyond Southern California and Central Florida, with a date announced in New York and those in other cities to follow. D23 is also coming to New York in October for special event honoring the 70th anniversary of The Legend of Sleep Hollow.
Member mixers and advance screenings will return, as will Sip & Stroll during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in the fall. And D23 will send 10,000 free pairs of movie tickets to members in 2019 in celebration of the club's 10th anniversary. Here is the announced list of 2019 D23 events:

I know Disney owns Lucasfilm now, but why are they doing "Magic Screenings" of a movie franchise that Disney has not had any influence on since purchasing it? Temple of Doom is a great film, but there's nothing "Disney" about it. At least Star Wars and Marvel have been woven into the Disney story through additional installments after their acquisitions.
