Ready for the election season to be over and for Christmas to begin? Walt Disney World has you covered, with plans for a live webcast of its kickoff for the holiday season this Thursday night.

Even though the holidays at Walt Disney World officially kick off on Thursday, you can see holiday decorations all over the resort at this point, including in the new Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney has released a few "first look" images from the land.
There's new holiday-themed music in the land, too, including on the Alien Swirling Saucers ride.

Looks nice. I'll be popping into Toy Story Land to sample that Cran-Apple Tart. Hopefully Slinky Dog Dash won't have too insane a wait. I went 2 weeks ago and the line was 70 minutes at closing. Also, I just checked at 7AM this morning for fastpasses 60 days out....no dice. Sigh. I wish we had day-of fastpasses like at Disneyland.
