Snow caps the roofs across the village of Hogsmeade in Universal's The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. But this winter, snow will be falling from the sky in Hogsmeade, as well.
Universal Studios Hollywood today announced the "addition of nightly glistening snowfall" to its "Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" celebration, which runs from November 17 through January 6 this upcoming holiday season. The event also will feature decorations on the village's storefronts, holiday tunes from the Frog Choir, lots of holiday-themed merchandise and new Christmas ornaments for sale, new holiday-themed food at The Three Broomsticks, and the return of "The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle" light show.
In addition to the Harry Potter Christmas celebration, Universal Studios Hollywood will welcome back Grinchmas to the Universal Plaza on December 1-2 and 8-9, and then daily from December 14 through December 30. The 60-foot Grinchmas tree returns, along with the Who-liday Singers. Super Silly Fun Land also is welcoming "merry and mischievous Minions" to join the fun at the park this year.
