Toy Story Land now officially open to (and crowded with) guests, let's look ahead to the next scheduled opening among the Orlando theme parks.
With Disney World's
Universal Orlando's sixth on-site hotel, Universal's Aventura Hotel opens in August with 600 guest rooms in a 16-story tower that will feature a roof-top bar overlooking Universal's Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay.
This week Universal also announced the second food and beverage location at the hotel, a "food hall" called Urban Pantry. This counter-service location will offer roast meat, pizza, wok, and burger stations serving food cooked to order in a room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the hotel's pool.
In addition to the expected fare at each station, Urban Pantry will offer some Florida favorites, including a Grouper sandwich at the burger station and a "gelato sandwich" at the pizza station — a pressed sweet bread bun filled with hazelnut chocolate (aka Nutella) and gelato. (That one should be familiar to fans of Disney World's France pavilion.)
Universal's Aventura Hotel is scheduled to open August 16.

LMAO!
Overrated... All of it.
Any word on what there going to do with the 2 Emeril's Restaurants?
Team Universal Orlando told a few select bloggers, including Jim Hill, they would be making major announcements during WDW a Toy Story Land media days.
Jim Hill even mentioned the strategy in several pod casts.
Guess TUO changed their mind with the solid reviews and packed attendance Walt Disney Imagineering is achieving!
Or... certain bloggers are full of Minion poo.
How do you know the "major announcement" wasn't the Nutella thing?

Do we have any idea what the plans are for the spaces once occupied by Emeril's restaurants? Did I miss if they announced anything or has nothing been released yet?
