Universal Orlando announces premiere date for new Harry Potter show

January 11, 2018, 12:22 PM · As we predicted earlier, the new nighttime show coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando is the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle show that debuted last summer at Universal Studios Hollywood. But now we have a debut date!

The first run of the new projection mapping light show on the castle will happen on January 26, exclusively for package ticket holders for Universal's Celebration of Harry Potter event. The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle will run during the Potter fan fest on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28 before officially opening to the public on January 31.

The show will continues its run on February 5 then on February 7-12. Universal says that it will announce additional run dates in the future.
