Here's how to watch the Summer Olympics at Universal Orlando

August 1, 2016, 11:47 AM · The Summer Olympics start in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this weekend and Universal Orlando is getting ready by setting up bleacher viewing in front of the giant screen outside the NBC Sports Grill & Brew in CityWalk.

Universal owner NBCUniversal owns the American broadcast rights to the Olympic Games, so it's free and clear to use the word "Olympics" in promotions (unlike other parks), and Universal has obvious corporate-family incentive to publicize NBC's coverage of the games, which will be shown on the 100-foot widescreen atop the restaurant.

NBC Sports Grill & Brew will be offering a special "bleacher menu" for fans who choose to sit and watch the giant screen outside. The menu will include the restaurant's Large Warm Soft Pretzel, Southern Fried Sliders, Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Cuban Meatloaf, and Wisconsin Burger, among other selected appetizers and sandwiches. Selected beers will be available for purchase as well. And the full restaurant and drink menus will continue to be available inside the restaurant, where there will be plenty of (admittedly, smaller sized) screens tuned the the games.

The Rio Olympics run Aug. 5-21 and the nightly bleacher broadcast starts outside the NBC Sports Grill & Brew at 5 pm.
