"LEGOLAND Hotel offers a unique experience unlike any other in Florida," Hotel General Manager Kevin Carr said in a statement. "Legoland Hotel is an extension of the theme park experience and the stars of our Park are our Master Model Builders," he said. "We're moving the Model Shop into our hotel and guests will be able to learn and build with our Model Builders daily in the Master Model Builder Workshop."
In addition to the workshop, the east-coast Legoland Hotel will offer 152 themed rooms with separate sleeping areas for kids, king-size beds in the adult sleeping areas, full breakfasts for guests, early admission to the park, and a Lego toy surprise in each room. Here's a look inside one of the VIP suites, which also include a living room and kids' play area.
Legoland Florida also announced today that it will open a new land, Heartlake City. Themed to the Lego Friends line of toys, the new land will feature a disk coaster named Mia's Riding Adventure, and an audience participation show called Friends to the Rescue.
Heartlake City will open this summer. No specific date was given.
