Mini-golf construction continues at Universal Orlando's CityWalk

November 29, 2011, 8:16 PM · Editor's note: Domenik sent in several photos of the Hollywood Drive-In Golf mini-golf under construction at Universal Orlando's CityWalk. The facility will feature two 1950's B-movie-themed courses, "Invaders From Planet Putt" and "The Haunting of Ghostly Greens," and is scheduled to be open in "early 2012."

I wonder where they would put it. They should make it the focal point of the park in the same way Disneyland's castle has become. Turn it into a timeless icon instead of merely associating it with the movie and books. How about having a real train ride around the park? There are many possibilities except for land.

December 2, 2011 at 12:17 PM · Very cool! We were there in September and all we saw a lot of dirt (we even saw a dog walking around there), so it is good to see this taking shape!
